My experience at HS2 has been nothing but supportive. Though there were a couple "reality checks" here and there -- you can't apply under a major you've done virtually nothing for in high school, Michelle! -- they were very much needed, in retrospect. I greatly enjoyed working with my counselor; not only were we able to accomplish much re: resume building and essay writing, but we were also able to have meaningful conversations about what I really wanted for myself in the future. Though it may be tempting to take full credit for my college acceptances, I speak from the heart when I say that I truly couldn't have done it without HS2.
